Free Holiday Gift Wrapping at Barnes & Noble -- During the weeks leading up to Christmas (Nov. 23rd-Dec 24th), CARA volunteers will be at Barnes and Noble at the Renaissance in Ridgeland, MS, wrapping your holiday purchases for FREE! Please leave a tip to ensure a happy holiday for our beloved animals as well.

Pick an ornament & fulfill the “wishes” of our precious animals during our 8th Annual CARA Angel Tree Fundraiser.

Our trees will be in these locations: Petco – Madison, StorageMax all locations, Repeat Street, Animal Emergency & Referral Center, Hollywood Feed-Flowood, Hollywood Feed-Ridgeland, Northeast Animal Hospital, Atmos Energy, California Concepts, Luckney Animal Hospital, Shades Sunglasses and Apparel, and Madison Animal Hospital.

 


CARA will be at the following locations taking Pet Photos with Santa!
Wednesday 11/28 and Thursday 12/6 – Northpark Mall from 6pm to 8pm. (no appointment necessary).  Donate a 5 lb. unopened bag of pet food to CARA or make a $5 cash donation and earn a 50% discount on your Santa photo package.  Northpark will do text-to-win drawing for all those in attendance to win a prize as well.
Saturday 12/8 – StorageMax NorthTown by CasaBella Interiors, 11:00 am to 2:00pm. Call Alisa Berry (601) 503-7417 for an appointment.
Saturday 12/8 -- At the future site of Chipper & Coco pet food store, located in The District at Eastover.  11:00am to 2:00pm. $15 contribution to CARA for photo.  Hot cider and cookies for refreshments.

 

 


 

 
 
Repeat Street's Pups, Popcorn, and the Pawlour
 Saturday, December 1, from 11am to 2pm. 

Come out and join the Christmas fun.  We will have adoptable dogs for you to meet.
Food donations are always appreciated. Shop or Donate to the Pawlour room at Repeat Street where 50% of the proceeds go to supporting the shelter pets at CARA. 

 

 

 

 


CARA is honored to be chosen by our friends at StorageMax as their charity again this year along with MS Blood Services. StorageMax will be collecting food donations for the shelter with many great prizes for their customers.  The Christmas Project kickoff event will be Saturday December 8, from 11am to 2pm, at the StorageMax NorthTown location. We will be there with adoptable pups and our awesome volunteers. 

Outback Steakhouse will be offering plate lunches with drinks from Clark Beverage Company. Box lunches are $5 and all proceeds go to CARA. 

There will also be pet photos with Santa Claus by CasaBella Interiors. Make your appointment by contacting Alisa Berry (601) 503-7417 between 10am – 5pm, M-F, the cost is $15 for one pet and $20 for multiple.
